hi friends,
i got nopCommerce 4.4 with many products on it, today google crawled it but index many linked from plugins or login page,
what’s best solution for setting Noindex or Nofollow for these url ?

Add robots. custom.txt to your root folder of nopCommerce project and add disallow paths  which need to no follow
Or you can add your disallow paths to the source code of nopcommerce here

1- as i checked the Search Console i got many link from Login, Register, Attachment, Review and …
i write a sample Robots.txt and send the original link from search console, thanks to check it’s true or not ? (the attachment url is for image, i want to index it for google image)
2- as i search, i found that there is robot.txt and robot.Custom.txt and robot.addition.txt ,
so the question is i should use which of them and what’s use of every one ?
3- the last question is that with disallowing on robot.txt, how can we use follow tag on this robot.txt ? (i means i want Noindex with Follow)

where do you find robot.addition.txt? nopCommerce use robot.custom.txt

as you ask i find the robot.addition.txt here:

as i checked the referenced, in robots.txt just Disallow and Allow will be work as function, so how can control the follow/Nofollow and Noindexing function for any page or directory? (against about html Tag, cause i haven’t access to site developer and I’m site manager)

i see that there is a Google Tools for testing robots.txt here:

but when i got there with owner account, it show that I haven’t any property! (i verify my account owner with Domain option on DNS setting)

in the DeepCrawl knowledge, it write «Google doesn’t officially support robots.txt noindex, and you shouldn’t rely on it because although it works today, it may not do so tomorrow»
so what’s google doing now?
should i Noindexing with disallow my private folder or customer info page ?

This plugin has an interface that allows you to sort posts by word count, character count then bulk noindex or bulk nofollow the posts or page so that they will stop appearing in search engine indexes.

Currently this plugin only analyzes Pages and Posts. Custom post types are not yet supported.

Please Keep in Mind

After a page is noindexed, in some cases, it can take search engines up to a few weeks before the page stops appearing in the search index. The amount time will depend on how frequently a search engine crawls your website and pages. We recommend using Google Search Console to further analyze and understand how your pages will potentially appear in the search index.

Why would you want to remove a bulk amount of pages from search indexes?

At Mad Fish Digital, we use tools like DeepCrawl, LinkResearch Tools, Ahrefs, and SEM Rush to crawl and analyze web pages. Sometimes, you want to remove multiple web pages from a search engine’s index that contain no longer current content, old products and services, or outdated guidelines/regulations. In many of these cases, you need the pages to be temporarily dropped from google’s index today, but may want to update the content at a later date. By noindexing a post or page, you can avoid having to set the status code of those pages to 404 (or 410).

This is where having a tool to bulk noindex/nofollow these pages can become handy. You can easily remove pages from the search index, then remove the noindex directive once the content of those post or pages has been updated.

This plugin will sync with your existing Yoast and All In One SEO Pack (AIOSEO) settings, and allows you to do bulk noindexing with Yoast.

By staying in sync with the noindex/nofollow settings from Yoast and AIOSEO, if you noindex/nofollow a post or page directly, this plugin recognizes the change, and stays in sync.

Fallback Protection

If you are not using Yoast or AIOSEO, this plugin is able to continue to serve the appropriate meta robots tag based on the noindex/nofollow as per the settings through the interface.

If you do disable the Yoast or AIOSEO plugin on your site, be sure to double check the «Bulk NoIndex/NoFollow» interface (from the tools menu) to confirm that your posts and pages are still nofollowed and noindexed accordingly. Robots directives that are set directly through the WP Post editing interface may not always be tracked by this plugin, and those settings may no longer be visible to this plugin if the Yoast and AIOSEO plugins were previously enabled but are later disabled.

Installation & Usage

1) Login as an administrator to your WordPress Admin account. Using the “Add New” menu option under the «Plugins» section of the navigation, you can either search for: «Bulk NoIndex & NoFollow Tool» or if you’ve downloaded the plugin already, click the «Upload» link, find the .

zip file you download and then click «Install Now». Or you can unzip and FTP upload the plugin to your plugins directory.

2) Navigate to the Tools -> Bulk NoIndex/NoFollow

3) Begin noindex/nofollowing pages

I have tried this plugin in 2 of my website and is working well with WordPress 6.0.1 and i have Yoast plugin, and in my second website I have AIO SEO plugin They have fabulous customer service!!! Thanks for the amazing job

I love lightweight plugins that get straight down to work! Does nothing more than it needs to, but really good at what it does. Perfect.

This is working really nicely for me, and really saved me a lot of messing around and time. .. Very simple and Easy.. So happy I came upon it… A really really nice bonus is that it is very much synced with Yoast SEO… It picked up some noindexes and nofollows already set through Yoast, let me reset some of them, and then could see the new ones I set with this plugin were being picked up in the Yoast settings on individual pages… And best of all, when this plugin is deactivated the settings in Yoast stay… Don’t know what might happen If I delete this plugin but I maybe will stay(?), and in any case this is nice simply if I want to keep it deactivated until and as needed…

This seems to be a hobby project. My site crashed, hope you will remove your plugin from WordPress!

Exactly what I was looking for. A page and post listing allowing to noindex, nofollow them in bulk.

Это работает очень хорошо для меня и действительно сэкономило мне много возни и времени… Очень просто и легко.. Так счастлив, что я наткнулся на это… Действительно очень приятный бонус в том, что он очень хорошо синхронизирован с Yoast SEO… Он подхватил некоторые noindex и nofollow, уже установленные через Yoast, позволил мне сбросить некоторые из них, а затем увидел, что новые, которые я установил с помощью этого плагина, были подхватывается в настройках Yoast на отдельных страницах… И самое главное, когда этот плагин деактивирован, настройки в Yoast остаются… Не знаю, что может случиться, если я удалю этот плагин, но, возможно, я останусь(?), и в любом случае это хорошо, просто если я хочу держать его деактивированным до тех пор, пока это необходимо.

я получил nopCommerce 4.4 со многими продуктами, сегодня Google просканировал его, но проиндексировал многие ссылки из плагинов или страницы входа,

Добавьте robots.custom.txt в корневую папку проекта nopCommerce и добавьте запрещенные пути, которым не нужно следовать
Или вы можете добавить запрещенные пути к исходному коду nopcommerce здесь

1- когда я проверил консоль поиска, я получил много ссылок от входа, регистрации, вложения, обзора и …
, я пишу образец Robots.txt и пришлите исходную ссылку из поисковой консоли, спасибо, проверьте, правда это или нет? (URL-адрес вложения предназначен для изображения, я хочу проиндексировать его для изображения Google)
